How lookup records are built.
Each known record separates sourced facts from practical troubleshooting interpretation. We prefer Microsoft Learn, Microsoft Support, Windows release history, and other first-party product documentation.
Source hierarchy
- Microsoft product documentation and release records.
- Microsoft-hosted support or community material when first-party documentation does not identify the exact code.
- Operational interpretation that tells an administrator what evidence to collect next.
Freshness and limits
Windows servicing data changes frequently. Build pages are historical records for the build shown; they do not claim that the newest entry in this dataset is the newest Windows release. Follow the linked Microsoft update history for current servicing status.
Corrections
Do not treat a code alone as a root cause. Context, CSP URI, command, scope, adjacent events, and service health can change the diagnosis.
